Our cultural and educational initiative is devoted to promoting the Serbian language and the heritage of Serbia around the world. At the core of the non profit organisation is a passionate team of Serbian language educators and content creators who combine academic rigor with real life teaching experience and a genuine love for the Serbian linguistic tradition.

JELENA
A passionate Serbian woman dedicated to sharing the beauty of her native language with the world. Born and raised in the heart of Belgrad, she grew up immersed in Serbia’s rich cultural heritage. This deep connection to her homeland instilled in her a love for the Serbian language, as well as a desire to promote and preserve it.
With a degree in Linguistics, she possesses a strong academic foundation that complements her flair for teaching. She strives to make the Serbian language accessible and enjoyable for learners from diverse backgrounds.
MARK
An American who came to Serbia for work and quickly found himself captivated by the country’s charm, culture, and people. What was meant to be a short-term stay turned into a life-changing adventure as Marko fell in love with Serbia and decided to make it his home.
As someone who faced the challenges of learning Serbian as a foreigner, he brings empathy, humor, and practical tips to his teaching, helping other learners navigate the complexities of Serbian with ease.
DRAGANA
Dragana is a marketing professional from Niš, a city known for its rich history, lively atmosphere, and deep connection to Serbian food traditions. After earning a degree in Languages, she moved from classrooms to newsrooms, building style guides, commissioning features, and leading cross functional edits for multilingual audiences.
She loves exploring Serbian gastronomy and often prepares traditional recipes like sarma, gibanica, and ćevapi in her kitchen. She is also a language enthusiast who currently speaks three languages fluently and enjoys sharing practical techniques with fellow learners. When she is not contributing to the website, she likes spending time with family and friends, especially during relaxed weekends, food festivals, and visits to Serbian spa towns.
NIKOLA
Software engineer from Belgrade, with a passion for technology and spreading Serbian culture online. He also enjoys Serbian folk revival music, as well as hiking through the picturesque landscapes of his home country, from Fruška Gora and Tara National Park to the valleys and mountains of western Serbia.
What more to say? We would describe Nikola as a friendly guy who likes debating current affairs, culture, and new ideas. After work, you will often find him sipping coffee at a local café while reading a newspaper article on his phone, always curious, always connected, and always ready for a good conversation.
VESNA
With a sharp eye for strategy and a deep love for all things Serbian, Vesna is the digital voice behind our mission. Armed with a background in digital communication and audience engagement, she leads our outreach efforts with clarity, creativity, and cultural sensitivity.
Passionate about Serbia’s evolving identity, she brings hidden corners of Serbian culture into the spotlight, shining a light on regional traditions, emerging voices, folklore, literature, music, and moments of heritage that deserve to be seen and celebrated. If you have ever clicked on an article you did not expect to love but could not stop reading, that is probably her magic at work.
STEFAN
Born in Belgrade and raised on a steady diet of Vuk Karadžić, Serbian folk songs, epic poetry, and theatre, Stefan has always viewed language as more than just grammar rules. For him, it is a living expression of identity, memory, and culture. After earning his degree in Serbian Linguistics and Literature, he spent several years teaching Serbian to international students and creating educational content for language learning platforms.
Now a Language Content Developer on our team, Stefan brings together academic rigor and a love for spoken, everyday Serbian. He is especially interested in the richness of both Cyrillic and Latin scripts, regional expressions, and the rhythm of natural conversation. When he is not writing or editing, you will likely find him exploring old bookshops, noting down phrases in a café, or walking along the Danube and Sava, always observing, always absorbing.
